Terrorists.. Who.. Why.. How..!!!

For a taste of the discussion, here goes my comments on...

"Who are the terrorists?" "Why are they terrorists?" "How are they terrorists?"

There could be many such answers ... extreme poverty.. perceived humiliation.. personal suffering... loss of a loved one.. radical ideologies... nationalist political objectives... and ofcourse grievances with american or other foreign policies...

Poverty all alone can not lead to terrorism... though it can be a part of the problem.. but unemployment... hmm... may be..

Radical ideologies.. yes.. is the leading scorer for the making of a terrorist...

Most importantly, the radical ideologies are better to take root when discrimination and lack of oppertunity for economic growth are presented through a radical ideological lens...

The organized radicalization and recruitment (involves arms training.. providing weapons and ofcourse funding...) for such inhuman acts has been central to the formation of a terrorist..

A terrorist is just like us, with the only difference .. he is someone who is not only angry, but willing to act on that anger in an inhuman or extremly violent manner... for him, its just the sense of belonging to a group of like-minded extremists... that urges him to commit the sin...
Moreover, these radicalizers are more prominent on internet these days...

Rather, there can be no single psychological profile that could describe the reason or rather the "push factors" that makes an individual vulnerabe to the kind of radicalization that can eventually force him to become a terrorist...

It requires an organized element to channel the anger and frustration.. actively in person or passively over the internet or by any other media means... into a desire to kill and maim random civilians...

It is for this reason that groups subscribing to a radical ideology invest so much time, effort and money in media campaigns aimed at radicalizing and directly or indirectly recruiting future members to commit the sin...

The phenomenon of terrorism knows no boundaries, respects no religion, and the perpetrators regard themselves as the only “innocents.” Terrorism targets everyone indiscriminately regardless of their church, temple, synagogue or mosque. No one religion has cornered the market on violence......

True, terrorism has no boundaries. And the fact that there might be no end to it EVER is quite unnerving and annoying. And we’ll always be on the other side, conveniently commenting.
